Effective date: July 20, 2026
TruLens LLC ("TruLens," "we," "us," or "our") operates the TruLens Financial ETL application (the "Application"). This policy explains how the Application handles information when an authorized TruLens representative connects a QuickBooks Online company.
With authorization from the QuickBooks company administrator, the Application accesses limited accounting information needed for internal reporting, including:
The Application does not request the QuickBooks Payments scope, initiate payments, provide lending or investment advice, or collect a user's QuickBooks password.
QuickBooks information is used only to prepare TruLens internal financial reports, validate report output, and update reporting workbooks made available to authorized TruLens personnel.
Accounting report data may be stored in secured files on TruLens-controlled systems and in TruLens-controlled Google Drive or Google Sheets files for internal reporting. OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored on a TruLens-controlled system with access restricted to the operating account.
The public Vercel-hosted callback service forwards the limited OAuth callback parameters needed to complete authorization. It does not store OAuth tokens, QuickBooks credentials, or financial report data.
Service providers involved in this process may include Intuit, Google, and Vercel, subject to their respective privacy and security terms.
TruLens does not sell QuickBooks information and does not use it for advertising. Information is shared only with authorized TruLens personnel and service providers needed to operate the Application, or when required by law.
OAuth tokens are retained while the QuickBooks connection remains authorized and are removed when the connection is revoked. Generated reports are retained according to TruLens business and financial record-retention requirements. An authorized company representative may request disconnection or deletion by contacting TruLens.
TruLens uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including HTTPS transport, restricted token-file permissions, limited application scopes, and access controls. No security measure can guarantee absolute security.
An authorized QuickBooks company administrator may disconnect the Application through QuickBooks or ask TruLens to revoke the connection. After revocation, the Application can no longer access the connected company unless it is authorized again.
We may update this policy as the Application or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest revision.
